I suppose few of you know who David Brinkley was. He was a newsman and together\u00a0with Chet Huntley was a pioneer in the world of nightly, national news broadcasts.\u00a0They were active when Walter Cronkite was probably the biggest name in television\u00a0journalism.<\/p>\n

And with the history lesson over, let\u2019s look at what Brinkley was saying. He was talking\u00a0about overcoming adversity.
